The seven beautiful tracks of Aa’shiq-al-Rasul’s “The Sultan Of Madina” left me thirsty for more and in many ways I am glad it did. Maulana Rumi once wrote, “Music is the food of the lovers, for within it they find the image of the meeting with the Beloved.” In plain language Rumi is saying that music is nourishment for souls seeking to free themselves from the shadows of earthly desires
